SME Careers is seeking a C# Engineer for an hourly paid, fully remote contractor role. The engineer will review AI-generated responses and/or develop C# and .NET engineering content, with an emphasis on evaluating reasoning and step-by-step problem-solving. Responsibilities include checking accuracy, clarity, and prompt adherence; detecting methodological and conceptual errors; verifying technical claims; writing clear explanations and model solutions; and comparing multiple responses for correctness and reasoning quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and responses across varied topics to guide AI learning and subject coverage.
• Evaluate and rank AI answers to improve accuracy, fluency, and relevance to context.
• Test AI output for possible inaccuracies or bias and assess reliability across use cases.

Your Profile

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of professional C# experience.
• Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, async/await, and LINQ.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data-access patterns using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL and EF Core and/or Dapper.
• Experience with modern engineering tools and practices, including Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Strong English writing ability and minimum C1 proficiency.
• Close attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle logical or technical issues and explain corrections clearly.
• The ability to work reliably as an hourly remote contractor with consistent availability and internet access.
• Experience solving Medium–Hard algorithmic problems, such as LeetCode or HackerRank-style challenges, is a strong advantage.
• Previous work in AI data training, evaluation, annotation, or technical quality assurance of model output is preferred.
