Job Summary

As an hourly paid, fully remote Rust Engineer specializing in AI Data Training, you will review AI-generated Rust code and explanations, generate your own solutions, evaluate reasoning quality and step-by-step problem-solving, and provide expert feedback to improve model accuracy, logic, and clarity. This role involves assessing solutions for correctness, safety, and prompt adherence, identifying errors in ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, or algorithmic reasoning, fact-checking information, writing high-quality explanations, and rating AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality. Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and responses across diverse topics to guide AI learning and ensure comprehensive subject understanding
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating and ranking responses to improve model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance
• Ensure model integrity through testing for inaccuracies, biases, and reliability across use cases

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of professional Rust development experience in backend, CLI, or systems-focused projects
• Strong understanding of Rust’s ownership, borrowing, and lifetime model, with ability to reason clearly about aliasing and data races
• Experience in at least one of backend services, command-line tools, or systems programming using Rust
• Ability to evaluate safe, idiomatic Rust code, including traits, generics, pattern matching, and error handling
• Significant experience using LLMs or AI coding assistants with disciplined validation of output
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related technical field
• Preferred: Experience with AI data training, code review at scale, or evaluation of AI-generated technical content
• Highly preferred: Experience with Tokio, Actix, Serde, and async Rust patterns in production or advanced side projects
• Competitive programming experience, Rust open-source contributions, and demonstrated ability to reason about performance, concurrency, and correctness in Rust code are also valued
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and an extremely detail-oriented working style are required
