Job Summary

SME Careers is hiring a TypeScript Engineer for fully remote, hourly contractor work. The engineer will review AI-generated TypeScript snippets, design proposals, and technical explanations while also creating original content and reference solutions. The work includes evaluating step-by-step reasoning; checking correctness, clarity, and prompt adherence; finding problems in logic, type modelling, or architectural thinking; verifying technical facts; writing clear model solutions; and comparing AI responses for reasoning quality and implementation soundness.

TypeScript expertise supplied through this role will help improve leading AI models used by engineers and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed prompts and responses across varied topics to support comprehensive AI learning.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI systems for possible inaccuracies or bias and validate their reliability across use cases.

Your Profile

• At least 2 years of professional TypeScript experience.
• Expertise in TypeScript capabilities, including advanced type manipulation, generics, interfaces, and utility types.
• Strong ability with a major frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, or a backend runtime such as Node.js with Express or NestJS.
• A solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts and common software-design patterns.
• Experience using Git and standard branching, merging, and pull-request workflows.
• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Babel.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Minimum C1 written and spoken English and the ability to follow detailed technical guidance.
• Merged pull requests in TypeScript open-source projects are advantageous.
• Competitive-programming experience, review of typed API layers, DTOs or schema-driven designs, and previous AI data training or annotation work are also advantageous.
