Touchdown Labs is seeking a Foundry Supply-Chain & Procurement Engineer to source the materials, equipment, services and outsourced process steps needed for a defined customer product. The role supports evidence-based choices between buying, partnering, licensing, building or stopping before capital is committed. Touchdown Labs says advanced packaging is its intended first fabrication class and that it does not currently operate a production fab.
The work covers technical requests for quotation, equal-specification comparisons, installed and operating cost, yield-adjusted cost, supplier capability, qualification effort, lead times, spares, service, intellectual-property and data rights, continuity and change notification.
Applications are open. The exact work location, arrangement, compensation and start date will be discussed during hiring. Early work may include engineering plans and partner comparisons; hands-on work begins only at qualified and authorised facilities. The successful person will work with process, equipment, quality, test, customer and supplier owners as the scope requires.
